Why We Built ResiCareHealth
ResiCareHealth began with firsthand experience.
In 2020, our founder, Laverne Dutkowsky—an RN with a Master’s Degree in Nursing—was preparing to open a residential assisted living (RAL) home. Then COVID changed everything, and she made the difficult decision to sell the property.
But the experience revealed a much larger problem. Planning, licensing, hiring staff, and preparing to operate a small care home required juggling disconnected systems and time-consuming processes. The software available was built for large assisted living facilities—not the unique needs or budgets of residential care home owners.
